The examination includes:
– conducting refractometry without cycloplegia;
– determination of a child’s visual acuity according to a test corresponding to his age;
– determination of visual acuity with trial correction, determination of stereo vision (Lang standard test).
Screening allows in a relatively short time to determine in a child: age norm, reduced vision, amblyopia of one or both eyes, presence of astigmatism, lack of binocular vision.
If these violations are detected, the child is recommended to be scheduled for a full diagnostic examination.
Please note that the format of the screening examination does not include a medical report, a certificate is issued for the school.
