The highest medical category, has modern methods of diagnosing and treating patients with corneal pathology, dry eye disease, glaucoma, and retinal diseases.
Education:
- 1982-1988 – Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute, graduated with honours, speciality ‘General Medicine’;
- 1988-1994 – clinical residency at the Department of Eye Diseases of the Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute;
- 1994-1997 – postgraduate studies at the Department of Eye Diseases of the Kyiv Medical Institute;
- In 1997, she defended her PhD thesis on ‘The effectiveness of the use of embryonic nerve tissue in the treatment of retinitis pigmentosa’ (supervisors: Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine G.D. Zhaboyedov and MD, PhD, O.I. Timchenko), speciality 14.01.18 – ‘Ophthalmology’;
- In 2011, she defended her doctoral dissertation on ‘Scientific substantiation of the national strategy for combating primary glaucoma in Ukraine’ (scientific advisors: Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor V.F. Moskalenko, Professor S.O. Rykov) in the specialities 14.02.03 – ‘social medicine’, 14.01.18 – ‘ophthalmology’.

Author of 242 scientific papers, including 127 scientific articles; co-author of 4 educational and methodological publications, 3 reference books, 1 textbook, 4 curricula, 2 National Textbooks on Ophthalmology for students of Ukrainian universities and 2 textbooks for family doctors, 2 monographs, editor-in-chief of the National Textbook on Ophthalmology for English-speaking students, co-author of 4 patents for invention.

- Candidate for membership in the American Academy of Ophthalmology;

- Member of EVER (European eye vision research);
- Vice President of the Association of Ophthalmologists, Neuro-ophthalmologists, Glaucomatologists of Ukraine for International Relations (2007-2015);

- Chairman of the Kyiv Society of Ophthalmologists (2012-2017);
- Chairman of the Board of the All-Ukrainian Alliance of Ophthalmologists (2016-present);
- Chief Specialist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in Ophthalmology (2014-2017);
- Expert of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in the field of ophthalmology (2017-2023);
- Deputy Chairman of the Expert Council of the State Qualification Commission of Ukraine in the speciality ‘Surgery’ (2014-present).
