When you visit the German Eye Clinic for a preventive examination of your child or in case of complaints, please follow these recommendations.
- Choose an appointment that does not coincide with your child’s nap or feeding time.
- Explain to the child that the doctor examines the eyes to help them stay healthy.
- If the child wears glasses, bring them with you.
- If there are prescriptions for correction with glasses or contact lenses, medical records of previous examinations, surgeries, treatments, bring them with you.
- Avoid prolonged visual strain before your visit to the doctor.
- If you have any acute complaints (pain, redness, acidity, itching of the eyes) during the appointment, inform the receptionist.
- If the child was examined in other clinics the day before or on the day of the visit and the effect of a wide pupil is still present, this will not allow us to assess all visual functions and conduct a complete initial examination.
- Before the examination, please inform us what eye drops and other medications the child takes.
The examination is carried out with an individual approach, the clinic has a children’s playroom with toys and coloring books. We make your stay in the clinic comfortable.
After the visit, follow the doctor’s recommendations.
