Karl C. Golnik, MD, MEd, is an American neuro-ophthalmologist, Professor in the Department of Neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute (Phoenix, USA) and Chair for Education of the Ophthalmology Foundation. For more than 30 years he has practised neuro-ophthalmology exclusively — diagnosing and treating visual problems related to diseases and injuries of the nervous system.
Professor Golnik works with the German Eye Clinic as an International Medical Consultant. Together with Professor Oksana Vitovska, he supports the development of neuro-ophthalmology and the training of the clinic’s doctors to international standards.
