On the eve of the World Glaucoma Week, on 7 March 2025, ophthalmologists from different cities of Ukraine joined an extremely informative and intensive master class ‘Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty in the Treatment of Glaucoma’.
This event was organised on the initiative of Professor Oksana Vitovska in cooperation with the Deutsche Augenklinik and the All-Ukrainian Alliance of Ophthalmologists, with the support of Ravita. Theoretical material, peculiarities of the treatment technique, the latest news on the topic, personal experience and life hacks, personal acquaintance of each participant with the laser operation and the first steps in mastering the treatment technique on artificial eye models – this is an incomplete list of the training content.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the trainer, a well-known laser surgeon Tatiana Romanova, for her openness and skill, to Ravita for their support, and to the All-Ukrainian Alliance of Ophthalmologists for their cooperation.
