On 16 October 2026, doctors of Deutsche Augenklinik took part in the scientific and educational event “Continuous Disease Control with EYLEA® 8 mg. A Turning Point in the Treatment of Exudative Retinal Diseases”.
The meeting was moderated by Professor Oksana Vitovska, Medical Director of Deutsche Augenklinik. The event brought together ophthalmologists from Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipro and Poltava.
The keynote speaker was Professor Michael Stewart (Mayo Clinic, USA), who shared international clinical experience with aflibercept 8 mg.
The expert discussion covered current anti-VEGF treatment strategies, personalised treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular oedema, optimisation of intervals between injections, and treatment safety.
