Professional optometry training for optometrists and ophthalmologists was held at the Training Center of the German Eye Clinic.
The event was dedicated to modern approaches to assessing visual functions, performing refractive diagnostics, selecting spectacle and contact correction, as well as effective communication with patients during the initial appointment.
Participants had the opportunity to deepen theoretical knowledge and practice practical skills used daily in work with patients of different ages. Special attention was paid to diagnostic accuracy, correct interpretation of examination results and an individual approach to choosing the optimal method of vision correction.
During the training, key aspects of an optometrist’s work were reviewed: visual acuity assessment, autorefractometry, subjective refraction, and selection of correction for myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia.
The practical component allowed participants to consolidate the knowledge gained and improve their skills in working with diagnostic equipment. This training format helps not only to raise the professional level of specialists, but also to improve the quality of ophthalmic care for patients.
The German Eye Clinic continues to support the development of medical education and create opportunities for professional growth for specialists in ophthalmology and optometry.
We thank all participants for their activity, interest and commitment to improving their professional skills.
